As a lifelong basketball athlete, Akeel has a strong understanding of athletic biomechanics, overuse injuries, and the physical demands of high-intensity sport. This experience allows him to create personalized massage therapy treatments that support athletes and active individuals—promoting faster recovery, improving functional movement, and helping prevent future injuries.

He works with a wide range of people, from young athletes to hardworking providers for their families and everyone in between, with a strong belief that people should be able to live life with minimal pain and optimal mobility.

He continues to expand his understanding of the human body to provide high-quality, evidence-based care for his patients. His goal is to support the community in achieving improved physical function through effective and restorative rehabilitation.
